Well, here we are in good old Blighty on a gorgeous spring Sunday morning with blossom out, just lovely.

We got the car working and taxed for the next 6 months. I did not fill the tank as that could get frightening at £1.40 per liter (that translates into $9.00 per gallon), so I put in £20 ($32) or just about half a tank.
We are now able to talk to people who have our London number and we can receive emails as I am not on board a ship at 50p per minute (I paid £250 for 1000 for a better rate).
Our immediate plans are to unpack, hang out and regain our land legs. I will get the garden started quite soon and I am sure that there will be a project or two for me to do in the coming months.
